Anyone who's met me knows I love great food and I thought I'd share some of my

favourite places with you here:

gudrun is my go-to place for the best food in Steveston. If you enjoy well-executed, delicious and beautifully prepared food, this is your spot. Starting from a simple charcuterie plate of artisan meats and cheeses, on to the best mac and cheese or the most superb beef bourgignon ever, to a melt in your mouth sticky toffee pudding dessert, gudrun has what you want. Lovely wines and beers too. Menu changes daily. CAll first. Trust me on this one: Go.

The Blue Canoe with a fantastic waterfront patio, this is a great place to take in the amazing views Steveston has to offer, with local faves like bacon poutine, Waterfront burger, fish and chips, crab and asparagus pasta and fresh seafood sheet. Lots of craft beer on tap and a great wine menu

Fuggles and Warlock is a new craft brewery in the Ironwood area with a fab tasting room. A rotating tap keeps things interesting, but the top favourites are always there. Creativity and what the brewmasters have recently been exposed to in markets and different locales brings new beers to the casks. Check them out, friendly and open 7 days a week!

D'Original Sausage Haus is an amazing artisan sausage shop with a 5th generation sausage maker at the helm. Bierbeissers, bratwursts, air cured salamis, artisan cheeses, pates, crackers, condiments, you name it, if it's delicious, they probably have it. And they make a mean sandwich to go too. 

The Sweet Spot Bakery is a fantastic patisserie/viennoiserie with lovely "not too sweet" desserts, savouries, housemade ice creams and more. Get there early, these amazing morsels of perfectly executed dolce is what dreams are made of and they are plucked up quickly!

La Quercia does a great a'la Famiglia, so y'all eat what the chef makes and it's all super yummy don't worry.

Anna Lena Voted Best New Restaurant, this place does up beautiful, flavourful and creative dishes that taste amazing and look picture worthy before you dive in. You close your eyes and say, "Mmmmm". Honesty, it's good like that..
